In August 2022, Hendon became one of five nationwide Community Improvement District pilots, joining similar schemes in Ipswich, Milton Keynes, Skelmersdale and Stretford.
The pilot Community Improvement Districts aimed to revitalise traditional high streets and town centres thanks to funding, research and knowledge provided by Power to Change.
The High Street Revolution
Villette Road’s Highstreet Revolution set off to show that Hendon can become a place of opportunity to live, work and thrive.
By building a stronger community, a better place and giving a local voice to residents – including to traders, we hope to make Villette Road the Heart of Hendon and the spark behind Hendon’s Highstreet Revolution.
