Carnegie Community Corner is set to become a safe save space for Hendon Residents ahead of what some are dubbing the bitterest Winter.

Back on the Map, who hold a 25 year lease on the former Carnegie branch library are inviting locals to make use of the community space to combat the cost of living, avoid loneliness and stay warm.

It’s the latest move in BotM’s warm welcome initiative which began back in April with the installation of Air Purifiers from Greenlight Air in all community spaces.

Energy bills are set to skyrocket over the winter with the energy cap rising by an unprecedented 80% on October 1, with a recent report from ITV revealed that 9 out of ten UK families would consider cancelling their internet connection to afford to pay for utilities.
