Connector Hub Hendon

 

In April we are launching two brand new social groups which will be running every Monday from the 3rd April. These groups are open to anyone who would like to meet new people and try activities in the centre for the first time. This project is funded by Sunderland City Council and will be running throughout the East area of the city. Back on the Map are one of 3 hubs for Hendon and we are delivering activities for people living in the Middle Hendon and Long Streets area of the Hendon ward.

 

Social Hub -Mondays 10am-12noon

Social group for people under 50 who want to get out of the house and meet new people while trying a new skill. Some of the activities on offer will include; paper crafts, bunting making, hanging basket making and herb planting. Depending on the abilities of the group some outdoor walking may be arranged.

 

Social Crafternoon Mondays 1pm-3pm

The afternoon session is for people aged over 50 living in Hendon who want to make friends and try activities including; Mindfulness, Floristry, Baking, Paper Crafts and Hand Crafts.
